THOR'S ECHO, by Pepper Oaks stallion SWISS YODELER, returned to action November 25 at Laurel Park and dazzled his fans with an impressive score in his second consecutive Grade 1 victory in a month. THOR'S ECHO, carrying jockey Corey Nakatani clad in the traditional "Superman" silks of his owners, flew past the finish line in a sensational 1:08.71 as the 11-to-10 favorite. Perhaps the best description of the class exhibited by THOR'S ECHO came from the runner-up jockey who said to the press, "What a great race. I thought I had him, but that other horse (THOR'S ECHO) just kept digging in. We were running; I just couldn't get by the winner."
 

THOR'S ECHO now has earnings of $2,372,990 and his 2006 performances have catapulted his California-based sire to the top of the Sire List and proven the caliber of horse sired by SWISS YODELER.
